Internal Quality Assurance Cell

An Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC). has been constituted as per the AICTE norms. The members of the IQAC as follows.

• To build and ensure a quality culture at institutional level.
• Channelize and systematize the efforts and measures of an institution towards academic excellence
• Ushering in quality by working out strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance quality.

INTERNAL COMPLAINT COMMITTEE

An Internal Complaint Committee has been formed since March 2018 and has been functioning effectively till date.

The following are the members of the committee.

Complaints received from students were reviewed by the committee and remedial actions were taken periodically.

An Industry Institute Interaction Cell has been formed. The general body of the cell constitutes the following members.

• To give industrial exposure to Faculty members and students, thus enabling them to tune their knowledge to cope with the industrial culture.
• To assist the Departments in organizing workshops, conferences and symposia with joint participation of the industries.
• Encouraging Engineers from industries to visit institution to deliver lectures.
• Participation of experts from industries, in curriculum development
• To organize industrial visits for Faculty members and students
• To encourage Faculty members to use their expertise in solving the problems faced by the industries, thus creating opportunity for consultancy.
• Industrial testing by Faculty and technician at site, or in laboratory.
• To organize in-plant training for the students.
• To identify the areas for executive development programmes in the areas of recent technological advances.
• To assist the Departments in establishing rapport with industries for taking up mini projects and projects.
• To coordinate/ identify industrial partners for proposing ‘Centre for Excellence’.
• To strengthen Alumni relations.
• To assist the Training and Placement Division.
• Visit of industry executives and practicing engineers to the institute for seeing research work and laboratories.
• Memorandum of Understanding between the institute and industries to bring the two sides emotionally and strategically closer.
• Visiting faculty from industries.

A Grievance Committee has been formed since March 2018 and has been functioning effectively till date.

The following are the members of the Grievance Committee.

Grievances received were discussed and analyzed by the committee. Necessary actions were taken periodically.

• Toilet with proper water facility has been provided to the students and staff.
• Sports materials were purchased and distributed to students to promote extracurricular activity.
• RO system has been installed so as to provide clean drinking water to students.
• Motorcycle / Cycle stand has been constructed for the students to park their vehicles.

So far the grievance committee has been working effectively and will do the same in future also.

A Committee For SC/ST has been formed since March 2018 and has been functioning effectively till date.

The following are the members of the Committee For SC/ST.

• Suggestions and obligations received were discussed and analyzed by the committee. Necessary actions were taken periodically.
• Eligible SC/ST students are guided properly so as to obtain scholarship from the Government every year.
• So far the SC/ST committee has been working effectively for the welfare of the under privileged students and will do the same in future also.
